We, on behalf of the children, greatly welcome your contributions. There are two options for donations: you can become a sponsor of a child or make other donations.
1. Become a sponsor of a child
Becoming a sponsor of a child means that you will finance the child's clothes, food, basic medical care and schooling. As a sponsor, you commit yourself to carry the costs till the child is 18 years old. The cost for doing this is € 25 per month:
- € 22 is the cost for the basic needs of the child
- € 3 is needed to finance overhead costs of Morning Tears
Total: € 25
Your sponsorship can be carried out using a standing order (monthly) to the account of Morning Tears.
It often happens that several people jointly sponsor one child.
As a sponsor, you will receive letters from your child. Currently, our projects are in China. So, the letters will be in Chinese. We want to ask you to arrange the translation yourself (e.g. go to a Chinese restaurant). If you also want to send letters to the child, you can do so in the language of your choice. Our volunteers will translate them for the children. The joy for the child of receiving a letter from you cannot be underestimated.
We need to be clear that Morning Tears obviously does not give cash to individual children. Instead, with the amount of money your provide we can assure you that the child you are sponsoring will be foreseen in basic needs.

- fill in the 'Child Sponsorship Agreement'
Your donations will allow us to :
- set up training for caregivers
- set up new projects
- finance promotion activities to attract more sponsors, and thus help more children
To support morning tears financially you can choose one of the following possiblities:

You can make on offline bank transfer your donation to one of our bankaccounts.
3. a standing order (only applicable in Belgium and Spain)

Residents in China: gifts above 1000 RMB are tax deductable. Please send us an e-mail if this is of interest to you.
Residents in Belgium: Gifts above €30 are tax deductable. Please send your address so that we can send you a tax certificate (in March after the year of your donation).
